RHA Board of Directors Obligations and Expectations

The Board values and promotes consensus, cooperation and participation and honors different viewpoints. Each director is accountable to the membership and not to any particular segment or interest group of the membership.

Obligations/Expectations

Attend the Board meetings.
Supply at least one article each year for UPDATE - either written by the director, director identifies someone else to write an article or obtains permission to reprint an appropriate article from another source.
Serve on a RHA committee.
Respond with calls, faxes and/or emails when requested through a general legislative alert or other means.
Attend as many membership meetings and Association social events as possible. Every effort should be made to attend the Spring Workshop and Tradeshow.
Be a goodwill ambassador for RHA and promote membership and event attendance to others in the rental housing industry.
